Yes, this bullet train will run from Mumbai to Gujarat, which will cover a distance of 508 km at a speed of 320 km/hour, which earlier used to take 7-8 hours, now with the help of this bullet train, it will be covered in just 2 hours. Its need and importance in India - As we all know that in a country with such a huge population, we all want to save our time and this project between Gujarat and Mumbai will save a lot of time. The journey which used to take 7 hours till now, can now be completed in just 2 hours and 7 minutes, which will not only save time but will also lead to growth in business, which is very important for the development of the country. On one hand, this project is going to be a boon for the industrialists, on the other hand, this project will generate a lot of employment, it will increase technical and skill development, along with that it will also make travel easy and safe by reducing congestion.

 

Details of the project -

 

* The total distance of this project will be 508 km

* Its route will be from Mumbai to Gujarat

* Major stations and cities include 12, which include 4 from Maharashtra {Mumbai, Thane, Virar, Boisar} and 8 from Gujarat { Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Sabarmati}.

 

Technical features of the bullet train -

 

* The maximum speed of this train is 320 km/h

* The estimated time taken for the journey will be between 2-3 hours

* Its structure will be elevated. At some places it will be underground, it is also being told that this segment will also pass under the sea. For this project, a 7 km long tunnel has been built under the sea between Mumbai and Thane, through which this bullet train will pass.

 

Project Timeline and Deadline- At present, its work has been started and according to a report, it is expected that Gujarat will be completed by 2028 and the entire project will be completed by 2030.
