Terrorist Attack in the Jammu - Kashmir
Terrorist attack in Pahalgam:-
On 22 April 2025, some terrorists killed 28 Indians in a cowardly attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This is considered to be the second biggest terrorist attack after Pulwama in 2019. This attack has forced the soul of the people to tremble.
Pahalgam terrorist attack shook the whole of India:-
A place called Baisaran in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir valley, which is also known as 'Mini Switzerland', witnessed a terrorist attack on 22 April 2025 in which 28 people have lost their lives so far. According to eyewitnesses present there, some terrorists came wearing the uniform of Indian security forces and started firing on the tourists present there. This incident has shaken the whole country. Both the ruling and the opposition are protesting against this incident.
According to the people present there, the terrorists had AK 47 and other sharp weapons with which they attacked the tourists. According to reports, 28 people have died so far and more than 20 people have been reported injured. We have also received information from people that all those terrorists were wearing cameras in their helmets with which they recorded the entire incident.
Statements of eyewitnesses of the Pahalgam terrorist attack: -
When some people present there during the attack were talked to, they were very scared and were very upset due to the loss of their family members. People told that the terrorists first started firing and later they started asking the people present there about their names and religion. According to the statements of some people, the terrorists even made some men present there remove their clothes so that they could know whether they were Hindus or Muslims and if they were identified as Hindus, they were being killed. In some cases, women and children were left alive but in some cases, even women and children were not spared.
Although this terrorist attack has left many families disappointed, but in one case, a newly married couple whose marriage had been just 6 days old, the man in the couple who was serving the country by working in the Indian Navy was killed.
Purpose of the Pahalgam terrorist attack:- Lashkar-e-Taiba has taken the responsibility of this attack in Pahalgam. The terrorists say that this attack was a protest to stop the population growth due to the settlement of outsiders.
According to a woman present in the attack, the terrorists brutally killed her husband and when the woman asked the terrorists to kill her too, the terrorists refused and said go and tell Modi. This makes it clear that this warning was for Prime Minister Modi.
Government's reaction on the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir:- Soon after the attack, the government issued an alert and ordered the security forces to investigate. The Prime Minister postponed his trip to Saudi Arabia and ordered an immediate meeting.
